Most of what is in these paintings isn’t real.
A fiction.
And yet its all based on real life, and everything is true.
An impossibly correct perspective.
An unrealistic utterly real beauty.
A heartfelt and impossible to pin-down ache.
A blue more blue than any real blue and absolutely the blue that I saw.
I abandoned the local to see what was on my doorstep.
